Requirements
The following requirements and reminders apply for the state of Alabama. Please ensure that you have read and understand these requirements and that you have prepared any necessary documents and materials.
- You must be an immediate family member or demonstrate a legal right to the record in order to obtain a copy of the record.
- No I.D. required for Birth, Death, and Divorce Records.
- Copy of State-issued photo I.D. with signature required for Marriage Record.
Ordering
You can order online or by fax. To order online, just click the "Online" link for the type of record you want and complete the online form. You must proceed through the Shopping Cart and receive your confirmation page in order for your request to be accepted.
To order by fax, click the "FAX" link for the type of record you want to get a printable application. Print the application, complete it, and fax it back to us toll-free at 1-888-803-1119.
Product Information
The following prices are charged by the state of Alabama for the actual certificate and the shipping. The $19.95 fee that is charged by Express Birth Records will be a separate charge from the state's charge.
